Google AdWords Adds Multiple Business Location Support on Ads

Sometimes when someone would search for a local business, the “closest” location the ad would show wasn’t actually the most convenient location due to things such as freeways, construction or just where the searcher’s next destination happened to be.  AdWords is changing that by finally offering local businesses the ability to show up to three locations within a single AdWords ad.

If you are using location extensions for your ads, the new ad will show up to three locations, detailing the city, town or neighborhood, along with the distance from the searcher.  It also has the option to bring up directions for each of the locations as well as individual location phone numbers for each one.

Location extensions are automatically enabled now to show locations as either single locations, two locations or three, so there is no need to modify any of your location extension settings to start having them show up in your ads.

The change is just for mobile AdWords ads at this time.
