Google Asking Searchers What Needs Most Improvement

Google is testing a new survey in the search results.  This one, rather than rating the search results, is instead asking “What aspect of Google Search needs the most improvement?”

They ask webmasters to select an area they feel needs improvement and also offer a space for searchers to include another reason they feel needs improvement.

The choices are:

  • Speed
  • Ease of use
  • Features and capabilities
  • Revelance of results
  • Visual appeal
  • Nothing – its fine now
  • Other (please specify)

Surveys within the search results aren’t new.  Google recently began including surveys in their mobile results.  However, they have generally focused on feedback regarding the search results, not asking what needs improvement.

Perhaps someone will include a comment about updating Panda or Penguin in what needs the most improvement 🙂

H/T to Serptests who saw the test.
