Google Soliciting Feedback on Hotel Knowledge Panel Accuracy

If you do a search for a hotel that brings up a hotel knowledge panel, you might be asked to give feedback on the accuracy of the listing and to make edits to improve it.

Here is what it looks like within a search result:

When you click on suggest an edit, it brings up this:

It doesn’t bring up a huge amount of editable information and focuses on information that would usually not change with a hotel. However, the addition of allowing the URL to be edited does raise issues since many businesses, particularly hotels and restaurants, have reported that the URLs in their knowledge panels have been changed to an affiliate URL instead.

I couldn’t seem to trigger this for any other type of business listings, but I did see it for multiple hotels, both ones I have stayed in and ones where I have not.
