Webmasters Can Have 1000 Sites in Google Search Console

If you are under the impression that you can still only have 100 sites listed in Google Search Console, you will be happy to know they have raised that ceiling limit.

The new limit is about 1000 websites or so, according to Gary Illyes from Google.

Aleyda Solis shared a screenshot showing she has over the 100 mark in her account.

It isn’t clear when they did raise it, but it is good to know, especially for webmasters that need to add multiple versions of the same site into Google Search Console, such as the www and non-www versions, as well as http and https versions.  And if you add app indexing into the mix, you can see that webmasters could run out of room with a 100 property limit very quickly.

So if you have been close to hitting your former 100 property limit, you will be happy to know you can go well above and beyond the old limit, up to 1000 or so sites.
