Facebook Launches New Facebook Media Portal

If you are an organization or public figure – or even someone just trying to make their fan page go places – Facebook has launched Facebook Media, a brand new site aimed to help organizations and public figures navigate Facebook Pages with best practices for posting, promoting and sharing.

There are many success stories covering multiple verticals to detail exactly how others are successfully using Facebook for marketing their companies or themselves.

Facebook has been really pursuing marketing avenues for brands on Facebook and one of the complaints is that it is hard for those newer to Facebook to navigate what they should be doing.  With this new Facebook Media site, it will help lead marketers on the path to success – and, of course, to eventually promote themselves even further through Facebook Ads.

Even advanced Facebook marketers will probably want to look through the success stories for additional ideas on how others are promoting themselves on Facebook so that they can translate them into their own Facebook Pages.

One interesting thing to note, the new Facebook Media site is actually powered by WordPress.com VIP.
