How to Disavow All Blogspot Links Including TLDs

Chances are if you have ever done a disavow file, you have come across multiple blogspot.com links, as well as links coming from the various international versions of Blogspot, each of which is hosted on its own country-specific TLD.   And it can be a chore to disavow them all.

Marie Haynes shared an incredibly useful tip for those who want to disavow all Blogspot URLs.  Just simply disavow the entire Blogspot.com domain by using:

domain:blogspot.com

This will disavow everything, including all the TLDs such as blogspot.ca and blogspot.co.uk.  And yes, this works for all subdomains on all blogspot URLs.

Disavowing all links from Blogspot means that it will also speed up the processing of the disavow file, something that is important for many people, especially those who are penalized by Google.

Someone asked Zineb Ait Bahajji, a Google Trends Analyst, for confirmation that this works, and she replied yes, as it is the canonical domain.

For those not proficient in French, she is saying “Yes… because the canonical version is the .com.”

She does also say that if there are links showing up in Google Search Console, you should still disavow the different versions individually as well.

Haynes also pointed out that sometimes there are legitimate links coming from blogspot URLs.  But when someone has been using blogspot to spam for links, it can be easier just to disavow the whole domain rather than having to individually disavow subdomain by subdomain.

So if you have an issue where you have many poor quality or spam links from Blogspot, this will make the disavow process much easier.
